Privacy policy

1. Controller and contact
VOLAMI is developed and operated by Alice Antonelli. For support, data requests or exercising your rights: alice.antonelli.aero@gmail.com.
2. Data and purposes
We process email and authentication credentials, profile and country information, aircraft, maintenance, documents, flights, CSV files, coordinates and flight parameters, photos, posts and comments you provide. These support accounts, history, Hangar, sharing, support and service security. Requests and technical logs may include IP address, time and device information.
3. Phone GPS recording
When you start recording and grant permissions, VOLAMI uses your phone’s location to record the flight track, including with the screen off or the app in the background during recording. You can stop recording in the app and manage permissions in device settings. Tracks and drafts are also stored locally; saving, synchronising and publishing are separate actions. Flight data may also come from imported FDR files.
4. Visibility and community
Information you select for sharing, including photos and geographical tracks, may be seen by other users and, for public content or shared links, people following the link. Only publish data you are entitled to share. Do not include confidential information or third-party data without permission.
5. Google and Apple sign-in
When available and chosen by you, these options provide VOLAMI with the provider account identifier, email and profile information supplied for authentication. VOLAMI does not receive your Google or Apple password and does not request Gmail, Drive or contacts access. The provider processes data under its own policy. Availability depends on the version and service configuration.
6. Hangar subscriptions
When subscriptions are enabled, Apple or Google handles purchase and payment; RevenueCat verifies purchases, expiry and access rights linked to your VOLAMI account identifier. VOLAMI also processes profile country and the start of the free month to apply Hangar access rules. We do not receive full payment card details. Availability and prices are shown before purchase.
7. Providers and infrastructure
We use Cloudflare Workers, D1 and R2 for APIs, data and files; Resend for service emails; OpenStreetMap-based and compatible services for maps and terrain. Apple, Google and RevenueCat support the functions described above when enabled. Provider requests may include technical data needed for the service. Their infrastructure may process data outside your country; contact the Controller for information about locations and applicable safeguards.
8. Legal basis and retention
As in the previous policy, processing relies on performance of the requested service, consent where required, legitimate interests in security and compliance with legal obligations. Data is retained as necessary for the service; deletion or anonymisation may be subject to retention obligations, security and protection of rights. Local files and drafts also depend on your device: uninstalling may delete them.
9. Deletion and rights
Use the account deletion function in the app or contact the Controller; we may need to verify your identity. Account deletion does not automatically cancel a subscription: also manage it in Apple or Google settings. Where provided by the GDPR, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, withdraw consent without affecting previous processing and complain to the competent authority.
10. Security, advertising and updates
We take measures to protect data but cannot guarantee absolute security. We do not sell personal data or use third-party advertising systems. These public pages load no analytics scripts, advertising cookies or third-party resources. The app is not designed to collect children’s data in breach of applicable law. This policy will be updated when services or processing change.
